As lawyers and paralegals go about their day, researching and handling piles of paperwork, the jobs resemble one another pretty closely. In fact, they do handle much of the same work and for the same cases. The distinction, however, is clear. The reason why lawyers make the big bucks boils down to the additional years of required education, the level of responsibility they take on, and their courtroom dazzle.
